About the Buns

About? It’s about my dumb life, obviously. Get a brain.

You: That seems pretty lazy for an About section, and also your blog is just a bunch of completely unconnected random things that makes it frankly unreadable.

Me (feigning philosophical in my cop-out): Well, isn’t life nothing more than a “bunch of completely unconnected random things?” This is truth, man, and it is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

You: And why are you always insulting the reader? That certainly doesn’t seem like sound policy, and it really turns people off!

Me: You turn people off! Shut it!

You: Do you even have big buns?

Me (mooning you): That is a question you must answer for yourself.

You: And why do you have a photo of a special needs person with a Santa hat on your dashboard? Don’t you think it’s in poor taste?

Me: That’s me in 9th grade. Apology accepted.

You: Do you know any good places where I can get tapas?

Me: How could I possibly answer that? I have no idea where you live, or what you are looking for in a tapa. But I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your search.

You: If you’re so depressed – boo hoo hoo- then how come you’re still able to sit down and write a blog?

Me: Have you read my blog? The answer’s in the question.

To quote everyone’s favorite greasy misanthrope Troy Dyer from Reality Bites, life is just “a random lottery of meaningless tragedy and a series of near escapes.” Also I love this (your blog, not Ethan Hawk. Ethan Hawke is gross).

You are correct that Ethan Hawke is objectively gross. I tried to get Uma on board with that years ago- if only she had listened!

I’m currently at work and this page just made me laugh out loud. And now my boss is giving me a dirty look. Thanks anyway, this was worth it!
